While the fries might grab your attention first, the nachos are the hero of this menu. After a long day of skiing, a group of 10 ladies wandered into docs searching for good drinks and good apps. We weren’t originally gonna get the nachos and then Michael said we should reconsider. We’re SO glad we did. These nachos were the best we’ve ever had. We can’t stop thinking about them. Plus, three dollar coors lights for happy hour. Run *I mean ski* don’t walk. Michale from Michigan deserves a raise. This is not sponsored.
Brisket grill cheese was delicious! Was enough to feed 2 people and they were kind enough to split it for us!
I was hesitant about this one based on reviews, but then we ran out of options here at Winter Park base. I am glad we tried it! We ordered the 3 meat platter takeout for each one of us. Unlike the other reviewer's picture, there was lots of meat, too much to finish in one meal. Taste was great, their mustard sauce was great with the sausage. The people working there were super friendly, they double checked the order (it was a takeout) to make sure everything was there and in sufficient quantity. The price was reasonable given the location. I would recommend this restaurant based on the experience we had.

The service and ambiance was nice and chilled. They also had happy hour from 3-6. Depending on where you are sitting in the restaurant you have a great view of people coming down from the slopes. My friends and I opted to share a meal and it was really good. The chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans and the chicken sandwich with onion rings. I didn’t care for the sweet pickles on the sandwich but everything else was delicious. We also had the nicest server.
Food was absolutely incredible. Three family members got the 2 meat entrees - brisket, chicken, and sausage. I had the brisket grilled cheese. We took 3 to-go boxes because there was so much food. Each dish exceeded our expectations. Ended the evening with the delectable apple crisp dessert with ice cream. The place was not crowded, the decor was appropriate and the service was great! We had Summer and she brew me some tea because they were out. We will definitely be returning and recommending Doc’s!
Only spot open in off season from what we found. BBQ was fantastic and can totally see it having a great atmosphere in season. Kyon took care of us and was fantastic! He laid out the happy hour specials for us and just had overall great vibes. We’ll be back because of him for sure.
I love this place! Perfect chill atmosphere and amazing people. Everyone who works here exceeds expectations and does a great job to show you a good time. The pulled pork Mac and cheese is BOMB! These people are so genuine and generous! We became best friends!!!
